Before Your Color Service
(Redken hair cleansing cream)

The days are gone of coming to the salon with dirty hair before a color service. We now prefer clean hair. We have had better results when working on clean hair because the color is able to penetrate the hair shaft more easily. We suggest using Redken Hair Cleansing Cream when washing your hair the morning of your color service. This will ensure brighter, shinier, and longer lasting color!

During Service
(Shine Gloss Treatments $15.00)

Looking for a way to brighten up dull ends? try adding a shine gloss treatment to your next salon service. The Shine Gloss not only adds shine, but also conditions the hair and seals the cuticle! It's only a 15 minute service, so you're in and out!

At Home Care

When leaving the salon after a service, it is now up to you to help maintain your hair. You can do this by using products and at home treatments to lengthen your color and style. The texture and condition of your hair will help determine what products are best for you. If your hair is colored, you should always use "color safe" products. Ask your Dolly to help you decide which products work well for your hair!

Avoid protein mask that is not balanced with moisture:

If you use a mask that only has protein in it, then use it only once every other week for 20 minutes. If not that, only once a month. If you use this mask more than that, it can have the reverse effect on your hair and actually damage the hair. Our favorite is the Bumble & Bumble's Quenching Mask. You can use this mask once a week for 20 minutes. It balances protein and moisture that your hair needs.

Set your hair up with a foundation product before using styling products:

This helps balance the moisture and PH, and it also helps the structure for the styling products. "When building a home you have to have a foundation to build a strong structure." Our two favorites are Bumble & Bumble's Prep and Tonic foundations. The Prep is for finer hair and replenishes moisture, while the Tonic is for thicker and chemically treated hair. This product contains tree oil that softens the hair.
