When you choose to color or highlight your hair be sure to think about the maintenance it will require, cost, the amount of fading you will have and any future expectations.
The more drastic color you choose will inhibit what you'll be able to do the next time you decide to change your hair color or style.
Please do not use store bought color if you are in a rush to change your look, unless you don't mind the damage it will cause when you go back to your stylist for a highlighted or multi tonal look. If you're ready to pick a color and stick with it, store bought color will be just fine.
