What your kids flaky hair normally means
By Laura Caldarazzo
Question: I often notice that my child has white flakes at his/her roots. Is this dandruff?
Laura's Answer: Children often have a tendency not to scrub their scalp very well. They also don't always rinse their shampoo and conditioner out good enough. Make sure when they wash their hair that they scrub a little better and rise their hair for a couple of minutes so they can remove all of the shampoo and conditioner. If they don't remove all of the shampoo and conditioner from their hair it can result in build up, causing white flakes at their roots. On top of rinsing and scrubbing, try to use a clarifying shampoo, such as Enjoy Sulfate Free Shampoo with Cleanse Sensor!
